The Process
Therapy is a journey of insight, healing, and growth. First, you gain awareness of patterns in thinking, behaviour, or emotions that may hold you back. Next, you work through challenges from the past or present. Finally, you grow into a person who experiences well-being, healthy relationships, and a more meaningful life.
Timeframe
The length of therapy varies for each person. Consequently, your therapist will provide guidance on when you might notice positive changes based on your treatment plan.
Starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially if it’s your first time. In your first session, your therapist will create a welcoming and safe environment.
Next, you will discuss your experiences and perspectives, and together, you will design a plan tailored to your needs. In addition, the connection with your therapist is the most important factor in progress. Feeling heard, understood, and supported is essential.
At Evolve Psychotherapy, we focus on you and your unique experiences and challenges, and we help you experience therapy in a way that is effective, authentic, and supportive.
